On the palate, it is full-bodied, smooth, and balanced with refined tannins, moderate acidity, and a savory, herbal finish.

La Segreta Nero d’Avola is a 100% varietal wine (unlike the La Segreta Rosso blend) that focuses on expressing the pure character of the Nero d’Avola grape in Southwest Sicily. It is often sealed with a screw cap for freshness, designed to be drunk young (best after 2024 for some vintages).
