Description
A unique organic Argentine red, blending the local Malbec with the Veronese Corvina grape, partially dried using Masi’s signature appassimento technique. It features intense aromas of dark berry jam, mint, and cinnamon, with flavours of plums, cooked cherries, and a long, bitter cocoa finish. It is smooth, tannic, and pairs well with grilled meats.
Nose: Intense bouquet of fruits-of-the-forest and conserves, with hints of mint and cinnamon.
Taste: Smooth and full bodied with flavours of plums and cooked cherries. Long, bitter cocoa finish.
Pairing: Excellent with roasted or grilled red meats, mature cheeses, hearty pasta dishes, and spicy vegetable dishes (e.g., eggplant parmigiana).
