Description
Brancaia Tre Toscana Rosso is a versatile, medium-bodied Super Tuscan. TRE stands for its three grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This well-structured, medium-bodied wine is aged for twelve months before it is bottled.
Nose: Intense, fresh red fruits (cherry, raspberry, plum) blended with notes of black tea, coffee, and spices like licorice or nutmeg.
Taste: Juicy and, for some, fleshy, with well-structured, soft tannins. It strikes a balance between fruit-forwardness and a, at times, slightly peppery or mineral finish.
Pairing: Best served at 15-16°C, this wine pairs exceptionally well with tomato-based pasta, pizza, grilled meats (steak, lamb), roasted poultry, and medium-aged cheeses.
