The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 single malt whisky gains its distinctive character from being matured in two different wood types. First in Whisky Oak and furhter mautured in SHerry Oak cask. Each stage lends different qualities to the resulting single malt whisky.

Nose: Showcases butterscotch, honey, prunes, green coffee, hickory smoke, stewed peaches, apricots, oranges, walnuts, dark chocolate, raisins, malt balls, lime zest, ripe papaya, banana, pear, black pepper, and toffee.
Taste:Smooth with flavors of hickory wood, buttered toasted brioche, pear, ripe apricots, toasted almonds, raisins, clove, candied orange, toffee, eucalyptus, cotton candy, baking spices, and a hint of vanilla.
